I’M THANKFUL I don’t live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It’s a town of idiots, 12 of whom made up a jury that on Friday acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager who killed two people and shot another during a protest/riot in Kenosha. Get this: No one else who was protesting had an AR-15-style semiautomatic rifle, except this wacky 17-year-old, who was marching around town waving it and looking for trouble. Think of what this stupid jury decision did. Think of precedent. Think of armed kids at every protest. Do you have a 17 year old? Do you think it’s a good idea for him or her to be armed at a protest? Of course you don’t – that’s why you don’t live in Kenosha. The gun changed everything, and what could have been some pushing and shoving and a few fistfights ended with two dead and one wounded. Rittenhouse put on quite a display while on the stand and when he put on his “Look at me, my face is scrunched up because I’m about to cry” act he looked exactly like Brett Kavanaugh when he scrunched up his face and started to cry when he was testifying to get onto the Supreme Court. I think the verdict should have put Rittenhouse in jail for at least 10 years, and while they were at it, I was rooting for the jury to sentence the crotchety judge to a year in the slammer for being grumpy. The sound you have heard since the verdict is the officials of the NRA giggling. ****************************************************************************** I’M THANKFUL that Bill de Blasio only has a little over a month left as mayor of New York City. There has never been, nor will there ever be, a worse mayor of our great city. The damage, the homeless, the dead children who were accidently shot because de Blasio went to war with the police instead the criminals. He is so dumb he has no idea how bad he is. He wants to run for governor, and then I’m sure Joe Biden’s performance is inspiring de Blasio to someday run for president. If he is even elected dog catcher and I’m still alive I’m moving to Kenosha.
****************************************************************************** I’M THANKFUL for the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. They’re stopping Dopey Joe Biden’s dangerous mandate. The court has put on hold a federal order by President Biden for companies with 100 workers or more to require every employee to get a Covid-19 vaccine. The mandate says, “Get the vaccine or lose your job.” “The mandate is staggeringly overbroad,” was the opinion of the three-judge panel. “The mandate is a one-size-fits-all sledgehammer that makes hardly any attempt to account for differences in workplaces (and workers),” Circuit Court Judge Kurt Engelhardt wrote for the judges, who said they believed that the ruling imposed a financial burden on businesses and potentially violated the commerce clause of the Constitution. “The Mandate imposes a financial burden upon them by deputizing their participation in OSHA’s regulatory scheme, exposes them to severe financial risk if they refuse or fail to comply, and threatens to decimate their workforces (and business prospects) by forcing unwilling employees to take their shots, take their tests, or hit the road,” they wrote. I believe every employer of a privately owned company has the right to require his workers to get vaccinated or they will be fired, but we must never give the federal government that power. Now I don’t take a backseat to anyone in wanting everyone to get the vaccine. It’s dumb to put yourself, your kids, your grandparents in danger by refusing to take the vaccine. The statistics are in and people who don’t get the vaccine are risking a horrible death for themselves and/or their loved ones. But the last thing I want to see is the federal government taking advantage of the pandemic and issuing proclamations. There are a few things that both Republicans and Democrats are starting to agree on. Donald Trump is crazy and dangerous. And Joe Biden is dumb and dangerous. How come this mandate is only limited to people who work and will lose their jobs if they don’t comply? Is brave left-leaning Joe Biden ready to issue a mandate to people on welfare? “Get a vaccine or we will stop sending you welfare checks.” Or how about: “Get your vaccine shot or we will not send you any more food stamps.” No, brave Joe Biden, who listens to the useless socialist Bernie Sanders, would rather punish hard-working people and take their jobs away. He claims he’s doing it to save their lives. Doesn’t anyone want to save the lives of people on welfare or living on food stamps? I do. You do. Every American has rights and they should never give them up to a bunch of worthless politicians. Want to see how flawed the Biden mandate is? If the workers who refuse to get the vaccine and lose their jobs immediately go on welfare, then they can live off the government. How dangerous is a federal mandate in the hands of a dope like Joe Biden? Do you think he’ll stop there? We’re all worried about global warming. What are the chances that in 2030 you will be told to give up your gas-guzzling car, even though with inflation, gas may cost as much as $20 a gallon. Then the new federal mandate will have federal inspectors confiscating your car in the name of saving the world. We’re in trouble. Inflation. Covid. Global warming. But in my opinion the only thing that can really kill us, our greatest threat, is a politician who says he or she is doing things to us for our own good. ****************************************************************************** I’m really thankful for everything.
